I am from Slidell, Louisiana. I attended Slidell High School, graduating 1982. My first son was born October, 1983; second son was born December, 1986 (and lost April, 1987), and my third and final son (NO MORE!!!!!) was born May, 2003. I have 4 cats, all rescues. I also have a dachshund (rescue) and an Alaskan Malamute; he was a New Year's Eve baby, and he's spoiled absolutely rotten! Last October, we adopted another street orphan, Bella, who is a lab/beagle mix. No more furbabies! I enjoy gardening - roses, flowers, herbs, vegetables, cacti (Non prickly kind), and trees. I'll take it all. I currently have roses and flowers started in my home; I have one lemon tree in a little pot. I love to cook. Unfortunately, I don't always have the energy or the time to cook a really proper meal, just those quick meals. I like watching people gobble up the food. When I do have the time, I enjoy it. I like trying new foods, new recipes. I will cook just about any NORMAL thing except seafood. I will not touch seafood! I will cook bird, if the handling is kept to a minimum. I was layed off from my job. After recovering from my back surgery (herniated disc removed), I was unable to find another one, so I decided to return to school. Unlike when we were in high school, I enjoy school now. My interests include Italy, I am absolutely fascinated with Italy! My musical interests vary, usually upon my mood. Amongst those I like are: Garth Brooks, George Strait, Brantley Gilbert for the country flair. For my chill-out flair, I like to listen to Native American Flute music.
